Balimo and Morehead Schools E-Learning Initiative: Comparative Baseline

Research output: Book/Research ReportResearch report

Abstract

The Schools E-Learning Initiative is a partnership between the PNG Sustainable
Development Program (SDP), Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF), and Western Sydney
University (WSU) which commenced operation in 36 schools in the Balimo region in
2020 and 21 schools in the Morehead region in 2023.

The Initiative focuses on three critical components of high-quality education:
1. teacher training,
2. targeted coaching, and
3. holistic resourcing.

This comparative analysis enriches the understanding of how contextual variability shapes the effectiveness of the initiative, ensuring a more nuanced interpretation of its impact.
