Abstract
In the aftermaths of 9/11 and the growing war on terror, several Western countries adopted preventive public policies to combat violent extremism. Introduced in the early 2000 in the Netherlands, and adopted since across the globe, the policies of counterradicalisation, or violent extremism (CVE), have become one of the most influential preventive public policy measures in the Global War on Terror.
