Abstract
This research uses narrative practices, participatory storytelling techniques and film as an accessible medium of communication and dissemination to document the impacts of fragmented personal histories. It produces new knowledges and lived experience research into acknowledged but overlooked practices in foster care: namely, the critical importance of implementing, through policy and practice, consistent record keeping practices that are suited and relevant to children and young people with a Care experience.
