    Abstract

    ![CDATA[Further commentary on original research undertaken with a University of Wester Sydney, College of Business community engagement seed grant into Australian lawyers and the benefit, or burden, of undertaking the placement of a PLT student. This paper picks up on the identified need for further research to examine the causes of satisfaction, or otherwise, of the legal profession with placements. The nature of the global profession, future trends and its training needs from a best practice approach to placement are identified. A pilot study undertaken with a small group of lawyers identified a need for a wider survey with a Regional Law Society, with a view to a state based survey of the profession in NSW.]]
