Book of Abstracts: International Women in Sport Symposium, 17-18 August 2023, Parramatta City Campus, Western Sydney University

The International Women in Sport Symposium will be held on the 17th and 18th August 2023 in Sydney, Australia, at Western Sydney University Parramatta City Campus and is hosted by the School of Business. The Symposium aims to bring together leading experts and practitioners from around the world to discuss the latest research and best practices in advancing gender equality and promoting the participation of women in sport. The symposium will feature a keynote presentation from Professor Jean Williams, panel discussions, and interactive sessions on a wide range of topics, including the role of sport in empowering women and girls, the impact of media representation on women's sports, and the challenges and opportunities for women in leadership positions in sport.
