    Abstract

In this paper the problem of blind separation of chaotic signals from an instantaneous linear mixture is considered. This problem is formulated as the extraction of each chaotic source. A new algorithm is provided to complete the separation task. A noisy chaotic signal is extracted by solving an optimisation problem. Then, a noise reduction technique is exploited to refine the extracted signal. The numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach can efficiently separate chaotic signals from a linear mixture.
