Abstract
![CDATA[The above-discussed analysis indicates that the NSW state advances the interests and aspirations of the institutional and socio-economic influential and places urban growth compass to Western Sydney. Consequently, Sydney is urbanising into cities within a city. This research argues that growing urban inequity and place-based differential opportunities are a big challenge in ensuring sustainable urban growth in Sydney. This research highlights the need to expand affordable housing in the East and North, provide more jobs, improve public transport and invest in social infrastructure in the Western part of Sydney.]]
