    Abstract

City Evolutions artworks are produced through an exciting collaboration between the City of Newcastle, the University of Newcastle and Esem projects. A series of buildings within Watt Street are lit up every night between sunset and 10.00pm, featuring a range of creative, interactive works that reflect in different ways on the history of Watt St and its place within the wider development of Newcastle as a city. Six installations were developed by the University of Newcastle and a further four by independent design group Esem Projects.
