Abstract

Climate action includes actions to mitigate climate change by reducing the emission of greenhouse gases to mitigate global warming, and actions aimed at adapting to climate change. Net-zero emissions mean a balance between the quantity of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere and the quantity removed, such that there is no net addition of atmospheric greenhouse gases.
