Abstract
![CDATA[Employer dissatisfaction with graduate capabilities combined with an escalating skilled labour shortage has given rise to scrutiny of tourism and hospitality curriculum design in Australia. Higher education leaders currently perceive that an increased focus on capability development is required, with work-integrated learning (WIL) considered an approach to learning which supports this. This research project will explore perceptions of industry, students and academics in regards to the capabilities required for graduate roles. An online survey instrument will apply the capability dimensions from the Professional Capability Framework (Scott 2016), comparing stakeholder groups to identify gaps between industry requirements, student proficiency and academic delivery.]]
