    Abstract

![CDATA[The past two decades has seen an increase in the volume of cluster literature, however the area of cluster drivers and barriers has been somewhat under researched. Discussions of cluster drivers and barriers are regularly found secondary aspects to other cluster research. This paper provides an overview of those cluster drivers and barriers literature, and uses this information to investigate an Aerospace Tooling Cluster in Australia. From this research the author outlines a number of ways in which to further develop cluster driver and barrier research through better understanding of driver and barrier inter-relationships and developing mechanisms by which these relationships can be measured. A better understanding of cluster drivers and barriers may impact upon the way in which clusters arc managed and researched.]]
