    Abstract

These two decisions, handed down by different Trial Chambers within days of each other, deal with opposite requests by the prosecution in relation to possible joint trials before the tribunal. In Meakić, the prosecution (successfully) sought to join a number of accused currently charged in relation with the Omarska camp in Prijedor with other accused (though there was one person common to both indictments) charged in relation to events at the Keraterm camp, also in Prijedor.
