    Abstract

The well-known paper by Chen and Tellambura has received great attention over the years and has formed important foundation for continuing research on multivariate cdfs in c.i.d. fading environments such as Rayleigh, Rician and Nakagami-m employing SC. However, it appears that the infinite-summation form cdfs in c.i.d. Rayleigh, Rician and Nakagami-m employing SC given in [1, (26)], [1, (28)] and [1, (29)] respectively are incorrect as evidenced in our detailed re-derivation given in Sections I–III and verification results using [2, (11)] as shown in Section IV. In addition, sub-equations of [1, (27)] and [1, (30)] for k ≥ 1 which are supporting equations for [1, (26)] and [1, (29)] respectively, are also incorrect.
