Abstract

![CDATA[The purpose of this paper is to compare quality management capabilities of manufacturing organizations in the Western Sydney region. Data collected using a survey questionnaire were analyzed/compared using ANOVA and Hsu's mean comparison with the best (MCB) methods. Results indicate that there are significant differences between large, medium and small organizations and the various industry codes in relation to measures of total quality management categories. On a theoretical level, the analysis validates the general reliability of the quality management assessment framework (QMAF) model. The results can provide a basis for meaningful guidance to managers of manufacturing organizations in the region with a view to bettering their business processes, including benchmarking their performance against the best case scores of the QMAF.]]
