Abstract
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurological disorder, mostly associated with cognitive decline in older age. Symptoms include episodic and semantic memory impairment, attentional deficits, and executive dysfunction. The current review summarizes prior modeling studies on treatments for Alzheimer's disease (AD), and how they impact the brain, cognition, and AD symptoms. Our paper focuses on how pharmacological medications may work, and finding better ways to treat AD.
