Abstract
This chapter provides some reflections and ideas on furthering the decolonising of social work in Africa. We argue in this chapter that social work is a responsibility of all social workers around the world and to achieve it requires us to confront and combat epistemic racism; embracing the role of indigenous languages and social workers; taking decolonisation to the classroom and practice and going beyond deductive approach in social work research, among others.
