Abstract
This guest editorial covers topics such as: the risk of patients developing contact lens-related microbial keratitis; the sources of risk for contact lens-related microbial keratitis; the role practitioners can play through continual patient education; methods of disinfecting contact lenses; and, basic hygiene rules for contact lens wearers.
