Abstract

![CDATA[A bushfire risk profile in terms of recurrence period for the determination of design bushfire conditions has been assessed in the current paper in support to the development of a risk based verification method for bushfire protection design. The risk profile is based on previously conducted extreme value analysis of forest fire danger indices using local fire weather records. In addition, the risk profile may also be dependent on the importance of the building from fire protection point of view.]]
