Abstract

Background: This study aimed to establish the criterion validity of the Active Australia Survey across different subgroups and to establish its responsiveness to change, as few previous studies have examined this. Discussion: The criterion validity of Active Australia Survey was poor, though the responsiveness to change was acceptable for several subgroups. Findings from studies using Active Australia Survey should be interpreted with caution.
