Abstract

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are fields of study that act as sites of Whiteness. While advancements in STEM are seen to benefit humanity with new discoveries and creations to address growing needs and issues people face, the various fields of STEM continue to operate in ways that maintain Whiteness at the exclusion of diverse ideas and lived experience. Inclusivity in STEM is fundamental when addressing how Critical Whiteness can be utilized to deconstruct dominant discourses across disciplines. STEM, therefore, can be transformed to be at the forefront of inclusion on diverse ideas and experiences.
