    Abstract

![CDATA[Organizations need to continually improve and review their processes to maintain their competitive edge in an uncertain environment. During the review process organization cultures may be altered and such an alteration may cause its downfall down the track. This paper presents an alternative approach that allows an organization to improve and review their business processes but maintains its existing culture. The proposed approach Culture Driven Regeneration (CDR) is based on the relationship between organizational culture, organizational learning and the corporate knowledge. The mechanics of this relationship is determined by the type of organization culture; namely strong and weak culture and the level of corporate knowledge. The proposed approach regenerates the existing business processes using the mechanics of this relationship by adding or subtracting knowledge to the process. The proposed approach, CDR, is demonstrated using an industry application.]]
