Abstract

Managing diabetes effectively can be challenging for caretakers who are responsible for monitoring glucose levels, administering medications, and making informed decisions about diet and lifestyle choices. The complexity of diabetes management and the need for personalized care requires a comprehensive decision support system to assist caretakers in making informed decisions and providing optimal care to individuals with diabetes. The decision support system (DSS) for diabetes caretakers has the potential to revolutionize diabetes management by leveraging data-driven insights, personalized recommendations, and enhanced caretaker-patient collaboration. It can lead to improved glucose control, reduced complications, and enhanced quality of life for individuals with diabetes. By empowering caretakers with actionable information, the system can alleviate the burden of diabetes management, enhance caretaker confidence, and ultimately contribute to better patient outcomes. Furthermore, the system can provide valuable data for research and population health management, enabling healthcare providers and policymakers to make informed decisions and develop targeted interventions to address the growing burden of diabetes on a broader scale.
