    Abstract

This chapter explores the design of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) overwrap repair systems for corroded pipelines. A review of pipeline corrosion, traditional repair methods and the advantages of using FRP for the repair of corroded pipelines is presented first. This is followed by a review of available literature, design methods based on major international codes and finally the available application methods. This chapter contains state of the art information on the subject matter and the most recent advancements in the field.
