Abstract

Dielectric property of concrete describes the physical-chemical properties related to EM energy storage and penetration of concrete material. This paper presents the measurement data of dielectric constant for the Chinese-standard (GB) concrete at mature age. The objective is to develop models for the dielectric constant of GB concrete at microwave frequency. The noninvasive crack detection and wireless monitoring of concrete structures will be the future applications.
