N2 - The research investigates various assessment methods used in one of the telecom firm’s recruitment and selection process and its impact on productivity and performance of employee. Data were collected based on structured questionnaires. Results indicate that cognitive ability tests, personality tests, job knowledge tests, and medical tests are significantly positively related with employee’s productivity and performance of employees. Conversely, resume and cover letter has no relationship with employee’s performance and productivity. The study further suggests that incorporating these assessment methods critically may render telecom industry with the potent to leverage employee’s performance and productivity.
