Abstract

The technology we describe here formed the basis of studies that determined the rates of drug clearance from the body following intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injection, as well as absorption from the gut after oral administration. It also permitted monitoring of drug accumulation in different organs. This is fundamental information, necessary for drug development.
