Abstract
Brody is a Marine, a congressman, a husband, a father, a friend, a Muslim, a follower of Abu Nazir, a CIA double agent, Carrie’s lover. But who is Brody? Where do his loyalties lie? He spends the first season of Homeland constructing and nurturing all these roles and by the end of the 2nd season he is left with very few. Carrie is a CIA agent, a bipolar patient, Saul’s protégé, and Brody’s lover. But can she manage to sustain this situation with all its conflicts?
