Abstract
The number of antidumping initiatives has increased in recent years. It is generally agreed that anti-dumping measures disadvantage the developing countries, particularly the least developed ones and their international business. Using Bangladesh as a case, this paper evaluates the effects of dumping and anti-dumping measures on the businesses of least developed countries. The paper proposes for a two-pronged strategy for the governments and businesses of the least developed countries in this regard: firstly, to safeguard own international businesses from anti-dumping actions overseas, and secondly, to protect its own domestic businesses from international predatory dumping.
