Abstract
Colorectal cancer (CRC) complicating ulcerative colitis (UC) or Crohn’s disease (CD) only accounts for 1–2% of all cases of CRC in the general population; it is considered a serious sequela of the disease and accounts for one in six of all deaths in IBD patients.
