Abstract
It is hoped that this special issue on anti-homophobia teacher education will encourage further discussion and research on this important social justice issue, particularly in terms of its relevance and importance in educational contexts. We believe that incorporating anti-homophobia pedagogies at this critical point of teachers' un/learning has the potential to filter through positively and make a difference by disrupting and challenging the homophobia and heterosexism that are rife in schools, and which impact on the quality of all students' and teachers' educational and career experiences in these settings.
