Abstract
In line with the theme of this issue: ‘An Asia Pacific focuses on mathematics classrooms’, the articles in this issue have been selected to reflect the diversity of mathematics classroom research in the Asia Pacific region. In addition, this issue also aims to highlight the multi-cultural and multi-faceted issues and challenges faced by mathematics educators and researchers in their pursuit of developing a quality mathematics education culture, particularly in this region.
