Abstract

This presentation explores the transformative potential of embedding leisure within law enforcement practices for offenders. Acknowledging the importance of rehabilitation in the criminal justice system, the session highlights the benefits of incorporating purposeful leisure activities to promote positive behaviour change and foster successful reintegration into society. Through real-world examples and practical insights, attendees will gain an understanding of how leisure can serve as a rehabilitative tool within law enforcement strategies, contributing to improved outcomes for both offenders and the communities they return to.
