Abstract

In 2021, the journal Landscape Research began to reorient itself around an ethos of care. This reorientation led to: a call to adopt more ‘care-full’ reviewing practices; the shaping of new policies such as the Inclusive Practices: Language and Writing Guideline; and the creation of the Academic Support Editor role, which carries the responsibility of providing an additional layer of support for those authors who require assistance in navigating the peer review process (Vicenzotti& Waterton, 2021; Waterton et al., 2022).
