Abstract

Renewed attention to relevance in geography suggests it is timely to cast off the stance of the silent bystander, especially one whose position erases a key area of human experience ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ one steeped in those feelings and emotions which make the world as we know and live it, yet which remain spectacularly unacknowledged in much of what we do, and in virtually every ââ"šÂ¬Ã‹Å“policyââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ that we recommend.
