Abstract
Some notable legislative changes have occurred since our last seminar series. From 1 July, under the Employment Relations (Flexible Working Arrangements) Amendment Act 2007, workers with careing responsibilities now have a formal right to request more flexible hours of work. Youth wages have been removed, except for new entrants.
