Abstract
AI has recently emerged as an assistive tool in the education sector, aiding academics in executing their administrative responsibilities and intellectual endeavours. The ethical application of AI tools possesses significant potential to create engaging educational resources that enhance student engagement with study materials and alleviate instructor fatigue by reducing excessive workloads. Nonetheless, despite the accessibility of these tools, academics are not fully using them due to ethical concerns, technical proficiency, and sufficient knowledge. This chapter examines the justification for employing AI tools to address student engagement and teacher burnout issues. It emphasises the significance of employing this technology through theoretical discourse on student engagement and teachers' burnout. The chapter subsequently offers suggestions on utilising various AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Invideo AI, D-ID, and Canva, to create engaging instructional materials, enhancing efficiency and conserving teachers' time and effort.
