N2 - This school report concentrates on the following aims of the research project: School-wide practices and context: Investigate a new, innovative whole-school PBL intervention that yields tangible benefits in positive behaviours for learning, wellbeing, and schooling success that is broadly generalisable across primary and secondary schools; Systemic changes: Comprehensively test short- and long-term effects of the PBL intervention on diverse schooling outcomes (standardised achievement, grades, attendance, retention) and psychosocial outcomes (positive behaviour, academic engagement; multidimensional self-concepts, motivation, wellbeing, & academic functioning); Classroom practices – pedagogy: Explore the relationship between the implementation of PBL in schools and ‘value-adding’ in relation to Greater Western Sydney schools: a) Perceived improvement in motivation and engagement with learning; b) Perceived improvement in learning; c) Academic results based in quantitative and qualitative data.
