Abstract
Enema nozzle injuries to the rectum are rare. Although only a few cases are reported in the literature it is believed that the incidence of this condition is not insignificant. We are aware of unreported enema-nozzle injuries in other Sydney hospitals, and present two patients to draw attention to the dangerous nature of this injury.
