Abstract

This paper looks into the enhancement of efficiency and effectiveness a typical tertiary course delivery within the environment of a standard course tool. We will in particular explore empowering a standard course tool by embedding additional in-house built web and email based components that are well interwoven together. These extra components are designed and built especially to support the running of large service classes for multiple campuses, as well as to facilitate a relatively large teaching team. A great many efforts have been made to streamline the delivery of the teaching resources, auto assistance to students’ self-learning and drills, auto handling of student queries, and flexible forms of marking feedback to the student.
