Abstract
Andrew Martin conducted an investigation in the ACT into boys' education. This paper, which summarises the key findings, focuses on gender differences in motivation and factors that contribute to the quality of boys' schoolwork, and provides an overarching framework within which to conceptualise not only boys' education but also the educational outcomes of all students.
