    Abstract

    Redox reactions play an extensive role in organic synthesis. Crumbie describes a simple experiment that uses recyclable Magtrieve as the oxidant in a simple reaction sequence emphasizing the reciprocity of oxidation and reduction processes in organic synthesis.
