Abstract

Aim: Researchers are often faced with ethical and logistical hurdles; hurdles similar to tasks of a disability case-manager. The role of the applied researcher requires particular disability-specific and interpersonal skills. This dilemma will be described through case examples from a study exploring the transition of adults with disability into retirement.
