Abstract
This paper examines the role of ethnic media in the lives of Fiji Indians in Sydney. It argues that these media are used by members of this community as a means of remaining connected with homeland Fiji and maintaining separateness from South Asian Indians. The paper also explores some of the factors in the development of ethnic media/or Fiji Indians in Sydney.
