Abstract

Social workers are grappling with notions of evidence as workplaces increasingly require evidence for practice to be articulated. Resources that support critical reflection on what evidence-based or evidence-informed practice can mean in diverse social work settings, within the context of social work values and theoretical traditions, are of great value. This edited volume makes a contribution to that body of literature. With 13 of the 17 chapters authored by contributors in New Zealand and Australia (the remaining authors are in the UK), it is a significant contribution from “down under.”
