Abstract
This volume intends to build upon emerging work looking at transformative travel in order to provide a catalyst for a multi- and interdisciplinary cohort of scholars to explore travel and transformation in a contemporary context. While the volume itself is not a comprehensive exploration of these issues (this would be impossible to achieve), we hope it whets the appetite and provides a springboard for exciting, colourful and creative new avenues of enquiry under the banner of travel and transformation.
