Abstract

F4transkript is a software program for annotating audio or video recordings. As argued by Thieberger and Berez (2012: 129), from our annotation tool(s) we want flexibility, interoperability, and archivability. Ideally, we also want to create our corpora as efficiently as possible, in teamwork involving native speakers or other members of the local speech community. F4transkript is a program that can help us achieve these goals.
