Abstract
Australia is just beginning to engage with the community land trust (CLT), as that model has been defined and structured in the United States. Australia has long experience with other tenure forms that carry some of the core features of a CLT, however, and the nation is currently facing a number of problems that CLTs may help to address. The potential for CLT development Down Under is great.
