Abstract
Finite element (FE) analysis was performed on two engineered cementitious composite (ECC) slab examples. In this chapter, firstly, the simplified constitutive models of ECC were suggested. Then, the sensitivity of the parameters of the concrete damage model was studied. Besides, the mesh size of the FE model was optimized based on the sensitivity study. With the agreement observed on the two examples between the simulations and experimental results, the FE models of ECC slabs were validated.
