Abstract
That's it, I said to myself, it's an Eastern Osprey. Sure enough, the next morning I wrote to the contact mentioned in the news article, who happens to be involved with the BirdLife Raptor Group, and he promptly confirmed my first encounter with a male Eastern Osprey.
