N2 - In the current era of rapid technological change and automation, the property industry is undergoing transformative shifts, often called Property Industry 4.0. The arrival of Property Industry 4.0, characterised by the integration of digitalisation, automation, and AI, signifies a paradigm shift in how professionals operate within the property sector (Brasemann and Baum, 2020; Kok et al., 2017). This combined with globalisation and an emerging focus on ESG have meant a rapid step change for the property sector. However, very few studies have been undertaken to examine the readiness of property graduates and property professionals for this change.. This report explores the profound impact of these changes, accentuated by the COVID-19 pandemic, on the future property workforce. The study identifies challenges, opportunities, and readiness within property practitioners and graduates while assessing the necessary adaptations in university property course curricula.
